TAMPA, Fla. – It seems like just yesterday we had 32 courses contending for the championship of FSGA Madness: Amateur Site Edition. Yet now, we are left with only our Elite Eight as we begin voting for the Final Four tomorrow, April 2.
So far, the closest poll we had in the Round of 32 was Trump National Doral up against Quail Valley Golf Club. Trump National Doral won by only 15 votes over Quail Valley Golf Club to advance to the Sweet 16. In addition, the Sweet 16 had several close matchups. Pine Tree Golf Club and The Concession Golf Club ran a tight race. Each course remained within a percent of each other throughout the voting, however, The Concession Golf Club ultimately prevailed by 52 votes over Pine Tree Golf Club. Moreover, Streamsong Resort and Bay Hill Club and Lodge also remained within a percent of each other throughout the majority of the voting. Streamsong Resort pulled through at the end and ultimately advanced to the elite eight.
