Two partners, ages 55 and above, team up for 36 holes of four-ball stroke play in the Championship. Gainesville Country Club is located in the heart of Gainesville, right off of I-75 and just south of the University of Florida. The George Cobb design is lined with century old oak trees and will challenge the best of golfers.

ELIGIBILITY

Must be age 55 or older as of October 17, 2006, and both entrants must be members of the FSGA.

ENTRY FEE

$330 per team ($320 for online entry). Includes two competitive rounds, cart fees and all tournament rounds and prizes.

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT

36 holes of four-ball stroke play.

FLIGHTS

After 18 holes. The number of flights in each age division will be based on the number of competitors and/or the range of scores.

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS

Curt Madsen, of Mount Dora, and Mike Walters, from Tampa, shot a 64-67--131 to win the Championship at Calusa Pines Golf Club.
