The FSGA selects a twelve player team to represent Florida in this biennial competition against Alabama and Georgia consisting of eight Mid-Amateurs (25 and older) and four Senior Amateurs (55 and older).
The team selections will include:
- (2) Senior players with the highest point totals from the “Two Year Points List”
- (5) Mid-Amateur players with the highest point totals from the “Two Year Points List”
- (2) Senior players selected by the Committee
- (3) Mid-Amateur players selected by the Committee
ELIGIBILITY: Invitational.

COURSE: Kiva Dunes, Gulf Shores, AL
CHAMPIONSHIP: Ryder Cup format - Saturday AM is Four-Ball match play followed by PM Foursomes (alternate shot) match play. Sunday morning is Three-ball match play.
DEFENDING CHAMPIONS: In 2006, Georgia won with 321/2 points while Florida earned 15 1/2 points and Alabama gained 15 points at Hawks Ridge Golf Club in Georgia.
