Bonita Bay's World Class Club in South Florida offers five championship golf courses. Bonita Bay is bordered by Spring Creek, Imperial River and Estero Bay, and more than 1,400 of its 2,400 acres are devoted to open space, including lakes, nature preserves and a 12-mile network of biking and walking paths.

The Bay Island course draws from the natural lay of the land to create the longest and most challenging of Bonita Bay Club West’s three courses. Water hazards, bunkers and thick stands of oak and cypress await errant shots on a course that plays to all four points of the compass.

The Creekside course features broad fairways and limited carries, while changes in land elevations create a subtle feeling of rolling hills. Bunkering and moguls add challenge to the greens.

ELIGIBILITY

Entrants must both be members of the FSGA.

ENTRY FEE

$380 ($400 - members who do not have an active FSGA/GHIN Handicap).

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT

All stroke play, Day 1, morning round will be modified alternate shot where each player will drive, then the team selects a ball to be played into the hole on an alternate shot basis. The afternoon round will be a two-man scramble. The third round, Day 2, will be 18 holes of four-ball. If necessary, there will be a three hole aggregate score play-off for champion.  The play-off format will be the same as the Championship format (Modified Alternate Shot/Scramble/Four-Ball). If the play-off results in a tie, play will immediately continue, hole by hole. It is the player's responsibility to be present for any playoff.
