TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1.      FORMAT: 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. The field will be re-paired and flighted after the first round is completed.

2.      COURSE SET-UP: Total yardage will be approximately 6500 yards.

3.      PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds are available one week prior the Championship on a space available basis. Practice rounds are restricted to after 12:00 PM on Saturday or Sunday. The cost of a practice round is $30 per player tax included. Please call (352) 335-0055 to reserve a time for your practice round. The place to practice your swing is one the driving range. Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is unacceptable.

4.      ACCOMODATIONS: Arrangements have been made at the Hampton Inn-Gainesville. The cost of a room is $79 per night plus taxes. Please call (352) 371-4171 and request the FSGA rate.

5.      REGISTRATION TABLE: There will be a registration table set up in front of the pro shop. All contestants are requested to check in.

6.      PAYMENT: Haile Plantation Golf & Country Club accepts cash, Visa or MasterCard for method of payment.

7.      SCORE CARDS: Rule 31-4 (Scoring in Four-Ball Stroke Play) will be strictly enforced.

The marker is required to record for each hole only the gross score of whichever partner's score is to count. The gross scores to count must be individually identifiable; otherwise the side is disqualified. Only one of the partner need be responsible for complying with Rule 6-6b (Signing and Returning Score Card).
