TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1.    FORMAT: 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. We will re-pair and flight after the first round.

2.    COURSE SET- UP:  The golf course will be set-up approximately 6800-6900 yards.

4.    REGISTRATION TABLE: There will be a registration table set up in front of the pro shop. All contestants are requested to check in.

5.    GPS AND RANGE FINDERS ALLOWED: In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used.”

6.     PRACTICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available one week prior to the Championship.  Practice rounds are restricted until 12:00 PM on the weekend prior.    The price for your practice round is $30.00 plus tax.  Please call (239) 561-8650 to arrange your practice round.

7.     CADDIE & SPECTATORS: Spectators and caddies are always welcome at FSGA Championships. Only players are allowed to ride in carts.  If a player employs a caddie, the caddie MUST walk and the player’s clubs must remain on the golf cart.

8.     SCORING FOR FOUR-BALL STROKE PLAY:  The marker is required to record for each hole only the score of whichever partner’s score is to count.  The score to count must be individually identifiable; otherwise the side shall be disqualified.  Only one of the partners need be responsible for complying with Rule 6-6b.

9.    PAYMENT:  Plantation G & CC will accept Visa/MasterCard and American Express for a method of payment.  The club does not accept CASH.

Take I-75 to exit 131 (Daniels Parkway), exit to the east, first traffic light will be Treeline Avenue, turn left (North) and Plantation will be approx. ¼ mile on right.
