Tour Championship

Players & Parents,

Below are instructions regarding practice rounds for the Tour Championship at TPC Sawgrass on December 14th & 15th.  Practice rounds are available on the Dye's Valley Course, however, practice rounds are not available on THE PLAYERS Stadium Course (see below for more info).

Dye's Valley Course

Practice Rounds Available: 

• December 2nd – 4th : All Day
• December 5th & 6th: After 2:00PM due to events scheduled
• December 7th & 8th : After 12:15PM
• December 9th – 13th : All Day

Rates - Includes golf car (must have driver’s license) and 1 bag of practice balls:

• Junior Contestants Before 12:15PM - $65
• Junior Contestants After 12:15PM - $25
• Parents Before 12:15PM - $109
• Parents After 12:15PM - $85
• Reservations may be made 7 Days in Advance Only through TPC Sawgrass Reservations at 904-273-3430.  
• Starting times are based on availability 

THE PLAYERS Stadium Course

Due to new restrictions recently put in place by the PGA TOUR, practice rounds are not available. The TOUR started an aggressive campaign to ensure the best possible playing conditions for world's greatest players during THE PLAYERS Championship. As of November 1st, TPC Sawgrass has significantly decreased rounds available to be played on the course in an effort to enhance the overall playing experience for all. In addition, as the economic climate with respect to resort play continues to rebound, every tee time available on the PLAYERS Stadium golf has been booked leading up to the FJT Tour Championship. We are sorry for this inconvenience but can assure you that your experience on the PLAYERS Stadium golf course during the competition with be a rewarding and memorable one. 

TPC Sawgrass will be offering the following amenities to all contestants before and during the championship. 

• 20% Discount on Golf Shop Merchandise (equipment and sale items not included). A discount card will be provided.
• 20% Discount on Food & Beverage Purchases in Nineteen (on-course and alcohol not included). A discount card will be provided. 
• Contestants may walk THE PLAYERS Stadium Course on the afternoon of Thursday, December 12th and Friday, December 13th after 2:00PM to study sight lines, take measurements, and get familiar with the course. Players must stay off the putting greens and please respect the members and guests playing.
• Please check in with the golf shop prior to walking the course.

Practice Facilities

• Full Swing Practice Tee – Golf Balls available for purchase in the Golf Shop at discounted price of $6 per bag.
• Practice Short Game & Putting Greens – Available daily at Dye’s Valley Hub area. THE PLAYERS Stadium Greens are restricted to Stadium play only.
