Amelia National GC (13-15)

Thursday, March 13th

Players & Parents:

The FSGA staff arrived Thursday morning and began setting up Amelia National Golf Club for the Florida Junior Tour event this weekend. The golf course is in very good condition, the golf course staff has done a fantastic job recovering from the harsh winter the area has seen and has drastically improved since the FSGA was here in early February.

•    Yardages - The approximate yardages are available on the website. Click here
•    Pace of Play - Amelia National is a big golf course ,and if your group walks slowly during your rounds you will most likely miss your checkpoints and receive a pace a play penalty. Advice - walk quickly, walk ahead of other players up the side, and be ready to play when it is your turn to play. Read the Pace of Play policy.
•    Shuttles - Shuttling will be permitted between the 12th Green to the 13th Tee & between the 16th Green to 17th Tee.  Players may be shuttled in ANY Automotive transportation, only between these two spots.  Players are to attach pushcarts to the back of the shuttle cart or breakdown before getting into the shuttle.  No player should pull a push cart alongside the shuttle cart.  Parents or Tournament Committee may pull the clubs for the players at these two shuttle locations.
•    9 Green to 10 Tee - will not have a shuttle, the fastest way is too go to your left off of the 9th Green through cut dirt path to the parking lot and around to the 10th tee; snacks, bananas and bottled water will be available on the 10th Tee all day.
•    Registration - Player registration will open at 10:00 AM Saturday morning outside the clubhouse entrance.
•    Spectator Carts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
•    Snacks & Beverages are NOT available before 9:00 AM at the club. Please plan accordingly!!!
•    Lunch is available in the Clubhouse both Saturday and Sunday from 11:00-3:00 only.
•    Bottled water, bananas and snacks will be available on the starting tees and there are few stations with water on the course.

As always, please remember we are privileged to host events at premier venues like Amelia National around the state.  Please be courteous of the club, club staff and members during your practice rounds.  Please refrain from hitting multiple approach shots into greens, allow members to play through and thank the staff and members for having us should you come across them.

Should you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at kyled@fsga.org .
