2005 JUNIOR MATCH PLAY INVITATIONAL

IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

FORMAT:                                             Match Play will begin on Saturday morning at 8:00 and Sunday morning at 8:00 AM with the championship matches on Sunday afternoon.

1.        13-15 Division will play 1 round Saturday morning. Based on potential weather (Sunday) the Semi-finals may be played Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning with the Championship Match scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

2.        16-18 Division will play round 1 Saturday morning followed by round 2 Saturday afternoon. Semi-finals will be played Sunday morning with the Championship Match Sunday afternoon.

COURSE:                                              The course will be set up at approximately 6900 yards for the Regular Division and 6500 for the Junior Division. Players eliminated on Saturday morning will be able to play a second round on Saturday afternoon, if they desire, these matches are for your enjoyment and pairings will be determined by who elects to stay.

REGISTRATION:                               By 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 12th, each person must:

Remit to the FSGA office, $50.00 per person for advance payment of course usage fees at Victoria Hills Golf Club.  Players may send a check to the FSGA office or pay by credit card online through the account manager or my account feature at fsga.org.  Payment must be received by Friday, August 12^th, or you will be withdrawn from the championship.

There will be a registration table in the pro-shop the day of the Championship. The grill room will be open all day Saturday and Sunday.

PRACTICE:                                          Practice rounds are available Tuesday through Friday (August 26^th) after 11:00 based on  space available. You may reserve a practice round tee time by calling, 3 days in advance, (386) 738-6000. One practice round and range balls are including in your registration fee. Parents may play during you practice round for $35.

GOLF CARTS:                                    All players must walk and caddies may ride. There is no restriction on who may caddy. Cost of a cart (caddie or spectator) will be $20 per day.

DIRECTIONS:                                     Victoria Hills GC is in Deland, between Orlando and Daytona Beach. From the I-4 and Orange Camp Rd intersection (exit 116), Off the exit go west on Orange Camp Rd. (toward Deland) for approx. 1.5 miles to Victoria Hills Drive (just past the Martin Luther King Blvd. intersection). Turn left onto Victoria Hills Drive and follow the signs to the golf course.

ACCOMODATION:                           Arrangements have been made at the Hampton Inn Debary/Deltona for $79 plus tax per night; (386) 668-5758.  From I-4 (East or West); Exit 108, then turn right onto Dirksen Road, turn right on Sunrise Blvd and the hotel is immediately on the right. DRESS CODE:                                    Appropriate golf attire is required at all times while at the club. Shirts must have collars and shorts must be of at least Bermuda length. Hats must be worn with bill forward.
