Can I post a score when playing Preferred Lies?

These past few months have provided the entire state of Florida a good dousing of rain, making our course conditions a bit soggy.  So, the question arises, when preferred lies are in effect at the club due to wet conditions, are these scores able to be posted?

The answer is yes, you are still allowed to post scores when preferred lies are in effect.

The Handicap Committee at the club should be evaluating the conditions of the course with the help of the Professional and Maintenance staff to ensure that the conditions are suitable for posting even when preferred lies are being used.  They have the ability to temporarily suspend posting in the rare case that the course is not playing to its rated difficulty.

If these conditions become permanent, then marking of the course should be adjusted accordingly.

So, keep posting those scores until told otherwise!
