Jacqui Putrino  |  Class of 2022

To say senior and FSU signee, Jacqueline Putrino has had a successful junior career would be an understatement. After struggling to break 80 and knowing that something was holding her back, she was fitted for contacts to correct myopia or nearsightedness at the age of 11 and she took off from there.

Jacqui went on to win the 2016 U.S. Kids Golf Florida State Championship in Orlando by eight shots shooting scores of 73-66.  Since then she has won a number of times including the 2019 FJT Tour Championship, the 2020 AJGA Sean Foley Performance Championship and the 2021 Dustin Johnson World Junior Championship, as well as the FHSAA 3A State Individual Champion in 2019 and 2020.

Jacqui also holds the honor of being the first player, male or female, to win all three Florida Junior Tour age divisions, which she accomplished in a 13-month time span when she was just 12/13 years old – an impressive feat!

She is currently ranked 14th in Golfweek and 15th in the AJGA Girls rankings.  The future is certainly bright for Jacqui and we look forward to seeing what she will accomplish during her time in Tallahassee and beyond!
