Senior Amateur Championship

Marsh Landing was designed by Arnold Palmer’s design partner, Ed Seay. The 6,841-yard course weaves through pockets of intracoastal marshes and towering pines, and is home to an array of wildlife


Must be age 55 or older as of April 14, 2003 and be a member of the FSGA.


$205. ($195 for online entry.) Includes cart fees for tournament rounds and prizes.


54 holes of stoke play.


Initial groupings will be for two-days; the field will be re-paired after the second round. The third round will be two shotguns starts, the first at 8:00 and the second at 12:45. The higher flights and the Super Seniors will play in the morning shotgun. The lower flights will play in the afternoon shotgun.


55-69, 70 and over. Players must indicate on the entry form if they want to compete in the super-senior division. Players in the regular division are not eligible for super-senior title regardless of age.


Players are responsible for practice round cart fees.


Joseph Cristillo, the 2000 champion from Crystal River, reclaimed the title at The Forest Country Club in Ft. Myers, posting 71-73-77--221. Bob Harris of Boynton Beach won the Super Senior Division by 5 strokes and scoring 71-71-75--217.


Arrangements have been made at Hampton Inn at Ponte Vedra for $89 per night. The deadline for reservations is March 13. Additional arrangements have been made at the Country Inn & Suites for $89 per night for a queen or $99 per night for a king suite.
