SUBJECT:                                Qualifying Information

 

1.      Enclosed are the groupings and pertinent information for the qualifying round at Pelican Preserve Golf Club in Fort Myers, FL on Wednesday, March 8, 2006.  They will accept Cash and Visa/MasterCard for method of payment.  

 

2.      All players MUST RIDE during the qualifying round.  The $55.00 entry fee includes cart/course fee and range balls for the qualifying round.  Spectators and caddies are welcome, but they must walk at all times.

 

3.      To arrange your practice round, call (239) 985-1707.  Practice rounds are available one week prior to the competition.  Practice rounds are restricted until after 11:00 AM on weekdays and 12:00 PM on weekends. The cost of the practice round is $99 plus tax before 12:00 PM and $76 after 12:00 PM.  All contestants playing a practice round must reserve a tee time.

 

4.      Pelican Preserve Golf Club prohibits the use of traditional metal spikes.

 

5.      Practice Rounds:  Remember you are a guest at Pelican Preserve Golf Club and gentlemanly behavior and proper dress is expected at all times.  The proper place to practice your swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.

 

6.      At the time of this mailing the number of qualifying spots had not been determined by the FSGA.  This information will be posted at the qualifier.

 

 

Only those individuals, who qualify for the Championship, must pre-register and remit an additional $200.00 either online at the FSGA website at www.fsga.org or by check to the FSGA office for advance payment of Championship fees.
