61st Boys' Junior Amateur Championship Player Information

Black Diamond Ranch Quarry and Highlands/Ranch Courses

1. CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: Fifty-Four holes of individual stroke play. All players will play eighteen holes on the Quarry and Highlands/Ranch courses on Tuesday, July 7th and Wednesday, July 8th. The field will be cut to the low 50 players and ties in the 16-18 age division and the low 20 players and ties in the 13-15 age division. The final round will be played on the Quarry course on Thursday, July 9th.

2. PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION: Practice rounds are available six days prior to the Championship on a space available basis at either golf course. Players' ages 16-18 can ride, players' ages 13-15 will need to be accompanied by a parent to ride in a cart. The price for a practice round is $30.00 + tax. If a parent is playing a practice round with their junior it will be a fee of $65 (standard guest of member rate). Please call (352) 746-3446 to arrange your practice round. The proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.

3. HOST SITE POLICIES: The membership at Black Diamond would like all of you to enjoy your experience during the 61st Boys' Junior Championship. The policies are for players and spectators.
- Gentlemen are required to have shirts tucked in and hats worn properly while on the golf course.
- The wearing of cargo shorts are NOT permitted.
- Gentlemen are prohibited from wearing their hats while in the clubhouse.
- The golf club prohibits the use of a cell phone while in the golf shop or restaurant.

4. FOOD & BEVERAGE: Players will be provided with a complimentary buffet style lunch after the completion of each round. Parents may order off of the club's menu. The club will not be providing breakfast options other than coffee.

5. TRANSPORTATION: All players MUST WALK. Pull carts are permitted.

6. CADDIES: Caddies are prohibited.

7. SPECTATORS: Spectators are welcome, and may either walk or, when available, rent a cart for $30.00 plus tax. No more than two persons per cart allowed.

8. METHOD OF PAYMENT: Black Diamond Ranch will accept Cash, Visa, or MasterCard for method of payment.
