IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

 

FORMAT:                            36 holes Stroke Play. The field will be flighted after 18 holes.

 

COURSE:                             The courses will be set up at approximately 7000 yards.

 

PAIRINGS:                          The field will be re-paired according to scores following the first round. The low scores will tee off last on tee # 1 and the high scores last off # 10. Middle of the field scores will tee off at 8:00 AM on tees #1 and # 10. Round two starting times will be posted in the golf shop and at the scoreboard within 2 hours after the last group completes play. Also, the starting times will be available on the FSGA web page (www.fsga.org) and the Hampton Inn. 

 

PRACTICE:                         Practice rounds are available up to 14 days prior to the event. Monday-Thursday and after noon on Friday-Sunday the cost will be $30 plus tax. You may reserve a practice round tee time by calling (863) 421-4653. Range balls are not included. Practice round fee includes your cart.       

                                   

GOLF CARTS:                    All players must ride and caddies must walk.

 

DIRECTIONS:                     From I-4 take exit 23. Travel south on Highway 27 toward Haines City. Southern Dunes will be on your left. Turn left on Southern Dunes Blvd. and continue to you reach the club.

 

ACCOMODATION:           Arrangements have been made at the Hampton Inn at Disney Maingate South for $69 per night, and at the Radisson Resort Parkway for $79 per night. The deadline for reservations is August 1. Call (863) 420-9898 for the Hampton Inn, or (800) 634-4774 for the Radisson, and identify yourself as a FSGA competitor for reservations. The deadline for reservations is Aug 1st.

 

DRESS CODE:                    Appropriate golf attire is required at all times while at the club. Shirts must have collars and shorts must be of at least Bermuda length. Hats must be worn with bill forward.
