Ryan Mehnert was born and raised in Rochester, N.Y. and grew up with a golf club in his hand. He played college golf at Mercyhurst University, located in Erie, PA. Throughout college and after graduating with a Sports Management and Marketing degree in 2017, Ryan was a P.J. Boatwright Intern at the Rochester District Golf Association.
After a few summers as an Intern, he later took a full time position at the RDGA, where he mainly focused on running local Rochester Championships and USGA Qualifiers. In his free time, Ryan still tries to root for the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and NY Yankees, but also loves to golf with friends and family.
