Format:  36 holes of individual gross stroke play

               - will award both Male & Female overall & impairment category

Eligibility Male & Female golfers, professional or amateur - See impairment categories below. WR4GD pass is required

Handicap:  WHS GHIN Hndicap Index 36.4 or less

  • The field will be determined immediately following the close of entries to ensure equal opportunity for all divisions.

Entry Fee

  • $170 - Includes tee gift, gift certificates, all course fees, range balls, a player's welcome dinner, the practice round, and lunch after both tournament rounds.
  • Late entries for qualifiers will be accepted subject to a $10 late entry fee should the entrant gain acceptance into the qualifying field.

Sunday, October 27th

  • 11:00 AM - 12:45 PM - Tournament registration 
  • 1:00 PM - Shotgun Practice Round
  • 5:30 PM - Cocktail Reception
  • 6:00 PM - Players Welcome Dinner

Monday, October 28th

  • 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM - Round one morning tee times off #1 & #10
  • Complimentary players' lunch buffet in the main clubhouse

Tuesday, October 29th

  • 8:00 AM  - Round two shotgun
  • Complimentary players' lunch buffet in the main clubhouse
  • Awards Presentation

Field Determination

All exempt players who register will receive immediate entry into the field. All other entries will be placed on a pending list until the entry deadline. Entries will then be accepted equally across all Impairment Categories amongst those who have registered. Secondarily, the FSGA selection process will take WR4GD Rankings, USAGA Rankings and Handicap Index into effect in determining the field.

Championship Practice Rounds

There will be a 1:00 PM practice round shotgun on Sunday, October 27th (included in entry fee).

Any additional practice rounds other than the scheduled round on Sunday will be at the player's cost.

Welcome Reception & Players' Dinner

The cocktail reception will begin around 5:30 PM on Sunday following your practice round, with dinner following at approximately 6:00 PM.

Impairment Categories

  • Arm Impairment: Players in the Arm Impairment Category have arm, shoulder and some spinal impairments, which may include Impaired Muscle Power, Impaired Passive Range of Movement, and Limb Deficiency.
  • Leg Impairment: Players in the Leg Impairment Category have leg, hip, and some spinal impairents, which may include Impaired Muscle Power, Impaired Passive Range of Movement, Limb Deficiency, and Leg Length Difference.
  • Multiple Limb Amputee: Players in the Multiple Limb Amputee Category include players with Limb Deficiency in more than one limb.
  • Neurological Impairment: Players in the Neurological Impairment Category have Hypertonia, Ataxia, or Athetosis, and/or a neurological indication (including neuromuscular).
  • Seated Players: Players in the Seated Player Impairment Category make every stroke from a seated position, because that is the only way they can play based on their impairment. 
  • Short Stature: Athletes with Short Stature have a reduced length in the bones of the upper limbs, lower limbs and/or trunk.
  • Vision Impairment: Athletes with Vision Impairment have reduced or no vision caused by damage to the eye structure, optical nerves or optical pathways, or visual cortex of the brain.
  • Intellectual Impairment: Athletes with Intellectual Impairment have a restriction in intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior which affects conceptual, social and practical adaptive skills required for everyday life. 

Caddies & Aides

Caddies and/or aidies are allowed for this event.  Players are to provide their own aide and/or caddie.
