Format: 54 holes of gross stroke play
Championship Format
- Overall Championship (all junior ages) and Junior (13-15) Age Division
- 54 holes of individual stroke play
- All players will play the same tee and compete for the Overall Championship and exemption into the U.S. Junior Championship. The low scorer in the 13-15 age division will also be recognized and awarded a trophy.
- All players play 18 holes on each course (Karoo and Roost) on Tuesday, June 30th and Wednesday, July 1st.
- After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the low 70 overall players & ties.
- The final 18 holes will be played on Thursday, July 2nd on the Karoo Course. The lowest score for 54 holes will be the Champion.
Eligibility
- Male amateur golfer - See the FSGA's Competitive Fairness Gender Policy
- Florida Resident
- Entrant must be no older than 18 as of the last day of the Championship and not attending college if graduated from high school. See exception here.
- Entrant is not required to be a member of the FSGA.
- Players 12 and under may play in the Championship if they have been granted permission to play in the 13-15 age division of the Florida Junior Tour.

- 7:30 AM - 9:27 AM - Round one tee times off the 1st and 10th tees (Karoo & Roost Courses)
- Wednesday, July 1st
- 7:30 AM - 9:27 AM - Round 2 tee times off the 1st and 10th tees (Karoo & Roost Courses)
- After the completion of play, the field will be cut to approximately the low 70 players and ties
- Thursday, July 2nd
- 7:30 AM - 9:27 AM - Final Round tee times off the 1st and 10th tees (Karoo Course Only)
- Awards ceremony immediately following the completion of play

Entry Priority
- Entries meeting the criteria below will be entered into the Championship on a first-come, first-serve basis up until the entry close date or the field is full.

- Previous Boys' Junior Champions (either age divisions)
- Top 1,000 & ties from last year's final World Amateur Golf Rankings
- Top 100 Ranked Players on Junior Golf Scoreboard as of close of entries
- Top 100 & ties from last year's Boys' Player of the Year Points List
- Top 50 & ties in Overall Division from last year's Boys' Junior Championship
- Quarter-finalists from last year's Boys' Junior Match Play Championship (16-18 & 13-15)
- Top 3 & ties from last year's FHSAA Golf finals
- Florida Junior Tour winners since last year's Championship
- Top 30 & ties (16-18) and top 20 & ties (13-15) from current year's FJT Points List at close of entries
- Top 30 & ties (16-18) and top 20 & ties (13-15) from last year's final FJT Points List
- Players who qualified for last year's State Amateur Championship
- Players who qualified for last year's Florida Open Championship
- Players who qualified for last year's Amateur Match Play Championship
- Qualified for one of last year's individual USGA Championships
- Any additional available spots and all alternate spots will be filled by (in this order):
- Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking (at close of entries)
- Receipt of entry (first come first served)
Last Chance Qualifier
One last chance qualifier will be conducted on June 22nd at Buckhorn Springs G&CC for golfers that did not gain entry in to the championship field. Entries will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Entries will open on June 5th, 2025 at 8:00 AM.
Qualifying Spots - 10 spots
The FSGA reserves the right to modify the entry process at any time.
Championship Practice Rounds
- Practice rounds are available at the discounted rate on Sunday, June 28th and Monday, June 29th. The price for a practice round on those days is $45.00 + tax. Practice Rounds booked outside of those dates are at the prevailing Cabot rate.
- Exempt and qualified competitors will receive an email with a Golf Genius link to book practice rounds after qualifying is complete. The link will be posted under tee times and information and communicated to those players competing in the Championship.
- Please email Brian Nichol, Brian@fsga.org, if you would like a tee time in the Practice Round Blocks as signup is now closed.
- Please call Cabot at (352) 796-5500 to arrange your practice round outside of the availability provided via the Golf Genius booking link.
- The proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range; hitting multiple shots on the course, not filling divots, and not repairing ball marks are unacceptable and may cause removal from the tournament without a refund.
Practice Before & Between Rounds
- A player may not practice on the competition courses before or between rounds. Penalty for first breach: General Penalty. Penalty for second breach: Disqualification.
