SUBJECT:                                Qualifying Information

 

1.      Enclosed are the groupings and pertinent information for the qualifying round at Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, FL on June 20, 2005.  They will accept cash and Visa/MasterCard for method of payment. 

 

2.       Rio Pinar Country Club prohibits the use of traditional metal spikes.

 

3.      To arrange your practice round, call (407) 277-5520.  Practice rounds are available one month prior to the competition day.  The cost for the practice round is $25 plus tax for each competitor. A guest wishing to play a practice round with a competitor may also play at the rate of $25 plus tax.  All contestants and guests playing a practice round must reserve a tee time.

 

4.      Spectators may rent a cart with very strict restrictions for $20.00 per person.

 

5.      Practice Rounds:  Remember you are a guest at Rio Pinar Country Club and gentlemanly behavior and proper dress is expected at all times.  The proper place to practice your swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.

 

6.      All players MUST WALK during the qualifying round – Caddies are not allowed.  Spectators are welcome.

 

7.      At the time of this mailing the number of qualifying spots had not been determined by the FSGA.  This information will be posted at the qualifier.

 

8.      The use of pull carts is permitted.

 

 

Those players who advance to the Championship, including exempt players, must pre-register and remit $120.00 either online at the FSGA website at www.fsga.org or by check to the FSGA office for advance payment of Championship fees.
